The Nun with a GunA Poem by Cleavlnd GrovesThe poem is about a nun with her gun.
In the small church, there was a nun.
She hid from her Sisters her very large gun. One day, out of fright, a villager came "Help us!" He cried, "They've all gone insane!" The nuns looked at the man, shaking their heads, Before promptly sending this man down to the beds. The nun with the gun, however, feared what he spoke Was truly no ill-humored joke. She had heard the strange stories of dank and of dark Which centered on a creature, known simply as The Shark. This Shark did not swim, Did not hunt fish or fowl, But was known as rather grim For it's infamous howl. These sea-faring folk, Knowing not the now-old joke "When it smells like a wolf, Looks like a wolf, And sounds like a wolf, It's probably not a shark, But hark, a werewolf." The old nun with her gun, she left the convent and said, "If I do not return, make my grave, for I'm most likely dead."
