By Night you Crawl

You may think it funny,

I think it sad,

That when the world seems perfect,

The stars start to fade

The moon begins to shine

Full and Silver

Unveiling the creatures of the night

Roaming

Under this bright majestic

Silent night

In the silver rays cast upon the land,

I see the fading mask

As everything turns to dust,

I see the mess at hand

A lying thief

Set off by the

Majestic silver light,

I realize I have given up my life

To dwell in the darkness of the night

All for an empty shell

For a dagger at my back.
