Walk

I walk,
This endless way,
until my legs have nothing left
 But to give way.

On my knees,
My face wet,
My heart numb,
My body's dead.

I walk,
In a world far and beyond.
Eyes set on the horizon,
Leaving that hopelessness
that dead body behind
without a second thought.

I walk,
Without a clear thought,
Without a shred of a heart.

Finally the pain is gone,
No feelings to drain and dilute
This soulless mist i am.
 
I walk,
Finally in peace,
In a world far and beyond.
