Who I am is Who I'm Not

I know who I am, and who I pretend to be.

But does this just mean I don’t know who I am.

I’m confused.

I know what I want to do and what I can do.

Then there’s what I can’t and still say I do.

The line between is thin.

Sometimes I don’t know what is and what isn’t.

Is there an easier way to go about?

You may say, just be yourself.

But it is easier said than done.

We all go about wanting to be accepted,

But when it happens, can you revert back to your true self.

I don’t know what to do,

I’m lost in this everlasting, never ending, confusing
web of lies.
