My Fallen Arc Angel

a poem i wrote for the love of my life <3

Once a strong warrior

Who stared death in the face

But now he's lost

Fallen from grace

 

Forced to live

In a world of pain

Salvation is something

He can never gain

 

Full of rage

Knows only hate

Over 6,000 years for me

He's had to wait

 

I showed him hope

I showed him love

I'm his saving angel

Sent from above

 

I was sent to care for him

To help bring him home

No more will he suffer

He'll no longer be alone

 

He's my fallen arc angel

Lost in the night

I'm his saving angel

I'll guide him to the light

 

Our love is forever

Our love is strong

In each other's arms

Is where we belong

 

He's my protector

My courageous knight

We'll fly off together

Into this night

 

He is my love

My reason to exist

I see forever in his eyes

I feel the passion in his kiss

 

Now is new

The mists of the unknown

Twilight is nigh

I finally brought him home

I am going to cherish this poem forever. It reminds me of some stuff that's been happening in my life recently with a guy named Leo (I'm currently writing some AU short stories about him). "He's my protector, My courageous knight." I love him with everything I have...

Nice poem here. it would appear that the needs of the flesh is still a constant thorn in the side of a celestal. The opening stanza is about a fall from grace. Once as strong worrior. but alas that is not the case now. It would appear that he has missed out on Heaven becuse he may have traded his salvation for the need of a girl. from stanza three it would seem that he is one angry angel. may be the ways of a celestal being wasn't his call. 6ooo years obviously the poet has done her reserch that is always good to see and i comend you. The rest of the peice is a battle where the writer takes on the persoana of a heroine saving him form all that the angelic one has known. this reminds me of City Of Angels Nicolas Cage trads his wings for human form. intresting concept in this peice. you have pulled it off and i congratulate you on the feat alone . well done
