My Fallen Arc Angel

a poem i wrote for the love of my life <3

Once a strong warrior

Who stared death in the face

But now he's lost

Fallen from grace

 

Forced to live

In a world of pain

Salvation is something

He can never gain

 

Full of rage

Knows only hate

Over 6,000 years for me

He's had to wait

 

I showed him hope

I showed him love

I'm his saving angel

Sent from above

 

I was sent to care for him

To help bring him home

No more will he suffer

He'll no longer be alone

 

He's my fallen arc angel

Lost in the night

I'm his saving angel

I'll guide him to the light

 

Our love is forever

Our love is strong

In each other's arms

Is where we belong

 

He's my protector

My courageous knight

We'll fly off together

Into this night

 

He is my love

My reason to exist

I see forever in his eyes

I feel the passion in his kiss

 

Now is new

The mists of the unknown

Twilight is nigh

I finally brought him home

I am going to cherish this poem forever. It reminds me of some stuff that's been happening in my life recently with a guy named Leo (I'm currently writing some AU short stories about him). "He's my protector, My courageous knight." I love him with everything I have...

awwww....my heart is pounding from this!!! What a stunning write!! I can definitely feel this radiating off the page. It's so wonderful when we find someone who fits so well. Making him wait 6000 years is a little much on the playing hard to get scale, I admit, but I know you're worth the wait!! All good people are.
