Halloween

I love halloween and what better way to show it than to write a poem

It happens so rarely

When everything scary

Is out on the prowl

As the wind begins to howl

When witches take flight

Their magic fills the night

And out the front door

Are Monsters galore

Vampires and Zombies walk the streets

Playing every trick and eating every treat

Your nightmare will be brought to life

Especially that killer with the big knife

Enjoy this night and have a ball

I loved this! Halloween is my favorite holiday too, mostly because I love little kids so I love watching them walk around all dressed up, so innocent and free. Although I must admit it gets pretty ridiculous because I have 3 little brothers and they all end up having some major sugar highs lol.. This was really well written and I liked the set up. Great write.

I like the color scheme, really catches the readers' attention, as well as sticks to the theme. Personally though, the words themselves honestly did little for me. Don't take offense to this, but this seemed like just any other Halloween poem I have seen. You illustrated the basics of it. It is put together pretty well, but idk... this one just doesn't appeal to me. Sorry.
