Out of the two I would have to say that I prefer the first one. It is somewhat simpler and therfore for me it is more complete.

I really really liked the first one because God knows, I'm ready for Summer to be over with and Fall to come. I noticed leaves on the ground yesterday and thought, "Wow, almost there." The second one is cute, too, but I liked the first one best.

The first one is a true Haiku, but I think the second is more a Senryu because there was no season word in it. Either way, they were both pretty. :)

Wow, I normally hate Haiku, I mean an actual hatred, where I read them and say why, does writing the little format make you feel clever, or wise? But these, oh these were simply wonderful. Very very pretty. Great job!
