YuppieA Poem by Michael KnightMy view of corporate AmericaIn the modern jungle of wolves and deer Nothing is left to spare The wolves will always have their pack The deer always struggling to survive
You can't escape it, you can reason it It doesn't feel the fear we have everyday It lacks emotion to feel pity Sure enough, remorse will find itself void
The eye of the wolf The deep stare stare of cold intimidation Teeth ready to sink and suck any hopes away from you Instinct running on limitless fuel
The body of the deer Trembling into flight mode Helpless to the ways of nature Destined to a vicious cycle it was never educated on
It's just another business day Hunting with more for less as your plan Rouge wolves will have to fend for themselves Being part of the pack requires an application and kissing a*s © 2012 Michael Knight |
