Ravishing

Ravishing

A Poem by Michael Knight

Not the mightiest forces of the universe
Can stop our love, It is the time for us
Our time to prove it, and we both have something to lose

If God were to lose his love, He can sure count on
asking you for your compassion
The Devil is envious of our fire
it supercedes his power.

Nobody on the boardwalk, Nobody on the beach
Just us, and I can feel it
In the air, in your moonlit eyes
The closer we get, the hotter the fire burns

The city's aura lends itself into your dress
You use the chilly cold water to draw shapes on my chest
Lips biting, slow breathing as our bodies touch
Your neck falls victim to my lips
The air sends the message down and up your spine
Your fingertips dig in to my back
As your dress falls off...
