The Final Frontier

The Final Frontier

A Poem by Michael Knight
"

My poem on the next life, after life, however you describe.

"
The tunnel began sometime ago
and one will reach its end
It's a place where the point of no return is a fallacy
No return, No chance

You lose all feeling, No noise, Just blackout
Like sleep with no dream
You awake different
You left everything, your mortal coil
Your hate, Your sorrow
Gone

The best part about it is that you don't care anymore
You don't care for vengeance or hate.
All the love inside of you becomes this picture of your wildest dreams
vivid, right in front of you
And guess what? That's the only thing you can take
And if you ask me, that luggage is the only thing you will ever need
For this trip of eternity.
