Imagine
A Poem by Michael Knight
My poem to John Lennon
I saw him standing there, the man who wasn't there he introduced me to the world, to the reality that exists told me to imagine, think unorthodox, not be separate but different to see, not to look, but observe its easy if you try
then I saw it, I looked at it, studied it, breathed it in till it filled my lungs and exhaled the relief of freshness I saw the serene sky, sheeny sun gleaming grass, and felt the zephyr brush in a soft smile on my face
I thought of a world that exists parallel it's not that hard to do no pride, no glory no accidents, no war no money, no power no distaste, but love
