Willow Trees

Willow Trees

A Poem by Classestnine
"

The words say one thing, the feeling and meaning behind them are completely different. Though I suppose it depends on your interpretation.

"

Walking along this grassy trove

The sun sets, leaving stories untold

I walk through this meadow feeling at home

The willow trees blow away in the cold

The falling leaves enclose my senses

As the air wraps around my neck

Slowly chasing the light to its ends

I feel the happiness slowly break

I see the willow trees on the grassy hill

My mind wanders to better days

Like his eyes and how he made me feel

So I walk to the willow trees as my life slowly fades away.
