TrappedA Poem by Clarissa_SanchezAbout a girl that seems to not be able to find her way.
Trapped
She places her hands against the glass trying to make it budge. She watches all the free people continuing their lives like it were nothing. She yells,"Let me out!" But no one bothers to listen, they have all gone deaf. She thinks about smashing the glass but is too scared to be hurt. So she sits and waits for someone to save her, with her hands pressed against the glass. She cried out a few times hoping someone would hear, but nothing seems to break through. She swallows her fear and lets out a breath telling herself that she is crazy. She looks at her bare feet and exposed fragile hands. But she's tired and impatient. She punches and kicks the glass ball around her, not caring about her bloody palms and knees. She had to break free. She smashes desperate to get out of this death trap. "It's okay..you'll cross over this. Just keep fighting, don't give up." she tells herself. Soon the glass had broken fully letting her squished body relax after a very long time. She looked around her and saw the danger in the world and wondered to glue all the glass back together. But she decides not to because she has finally, REACHED.
