Waiting

Waiting

A Poem by Nathan

The clocks clicks,
The time ticks.
Silence mocks,
Til toll tocks.
And still I am waiting.

The hour chimes,
Quiet sublime.
Drawing the line,
Reclaim what's mine.
But still I am waiting.

The days have all gone,
And last hope foregone.
Yet I stay upon,
And think of beyond.
For still I am waiting.

The years they all go by,
So many that I cry.
Now I await the time,
The time that I shall die.
And still I am waiting.

And still I am waiting.
