One Sided

One Sided

A Poem by Clairvoyant
"

People see what they want to see

"
They see one side of me.
Tis my darkeness they fear,
though they see it not.
Yet the seek to lift it from me.
Asunder me,
from myself.

Take from me,
that which is my own.
That which is part of me.

They see one side of me.
The side they can bear to see.
Oh, the hearts of men,
weak in their folly,
driven by desire,
blinded by lust,
crushed by darkness.
For they only see one side.
