Author's Note

In my experience, on Mondays, students are quiet and sleepy after a wonderful weekend. By Friday, they are lots more vocal and LOUD!! They wake up bit by bit each day of the week. Then they start over after weekend activities.

I like the feel of it. Short poems are often overlooked by people. I think it is harder to make them work. As Poe put it when referring to writing short stories, "put in every word required, but not one word extra." Each word carries more impact and becomes a crucial part of the whole. Nice work.
