Predators

Predators

A Poem by CitrtgoW8P

The words jump from your mouth

Like snakes hunting their prey

And release all their venom

Until there are no more words to say

Now you’ve got them where you want them

Cornered and deranged

Happy just to breath

Your poison seeping through their veins

And lying on the ground

Just staring up at you

Give them one last smile

That’s what they’ll remember too

Just another passing face

With solid gold eyes

You’ll rob them blind

Your satisfaction their demise

But don’t they know that

You know what’s good for them

What’s theirs is yours and what’s

Yours is theirs to defend
