CHARGE
A Poem by Imadjinn
CHARGE
Growth. Like the
charge of a beacon cuttle fishing along the riverside. Abett and
aided, a wishing well seeks cups of punch to bring itself a familiar
need for want. Cupcake and hair strand, a perfectly office type face,
engaged a matrimony of tenements and re-enactments took place. A
laugh in the longevity whispered tin lidded feet, and the other
didn't anger just then. Too much insect spray hurts the throat, what
if the insects were the spray? What if the model sat too still to
bring and dioceses change, the picture a tear-stained Virgin away?
Mercy perhaps of the overseer, the injest pays for drinks again. A
sacrificial sentence holds hands with a single moment and crash
tackles a head…..dusty combine drifts slowly and tape like. Charge.
Like the kingdom of a pause, the generation of a hearsay heresy, the
jock itch of a cannibal's helmet. Reach down and in vigour, a tired
grope makes cause to elope. Signature. Like the poison in my brain
that stays the same no matter how I scribble it. Addendum. Like a
forgiving.
