ode to property law

ode to property law

A Poem by Circe
"

farewell to old self

"
.

.

.

.
i sub-bailed my symbolic heart

void a functional himalaya clause

you crushed it like a sinking ship

and no salvors would brave the torrents

or test their finder's obligations.. this love

was indefeasible, until you whispered

fraudulent promises. i dare

arm you with the indicia of faith, but you

                 wait
                upon a bona fide

innocent taker.

I dunno what happened but it feels so good that I managed to find my way here eventually .. you evidently continue to wield the perfect pen my very dearest of Circe's .. and not only that, you have left here a bloomin fine example of ink strategically spilt to prove my point .. Neville

Hmmm...that was different and very cool to read. Your thoughts are expressed very creatively in this poem. Made me think. I realize this is an older poem but I saw your tagline about missing poets and I feel the same about this place. It just doesn't feel the same as it used to.
