Seeing HerA Poem by Cinu~N/AAs I see her pass, when I'm walking down the halll My heart skips a beat, my eyes widen, but her name my voice fails to call.
I want to hold her, kiss her, Claim her as "mine"; but as I watch him curl around my love, I fall out of line.
He is hers, she is his, this I do not like a bit, but I'm nothing to her anymore; No use to throw a fit.
She is a goddess, at one time I was with, but at once I became history, and our love, a myth.
I wonder what will happen, when she comes back to me, will I fall for her yet again? Or her love will my eyes fail to see?
She is out of my league, there's no use in dreaming, but whenever she meets my eye, I can't stop from beaming. © 2009 Cinu~ |
