Trip Into Psychosis...

Trip Into Psychosis...

A Poem by Charles R. Ciminokii
"

This was one crazy night, I have no idea what to say about it. I didn't cover it well enough in this but you will see what happens soon enough...

"

I ask if you are there

if I am really still here

Is he the man behind the wall?

You think that you can just call

but no.

When you don't think He'll just appear

He'll lay you with thoughts,

thoughts you can't find

the meaning of anywhere

And then He'll depart to leave you

to think

and thats where the trouble

comes along.

As you sit and think, about why

he was there

sitting, thinkin, sinking

into the wall or the chair.

Soon enough, your not even there.

Or maybe you are Their.

It can't seem real,

But you are starting to not feel

your surroundings, your heart, and your breath.

You will begin to let go

as things.

start.

not to.

flow into the depths of what can't be

Falling deeper into this hole

losing all control

---Stop that humming now!---

It's not real

I'm just imagining

that god damn humming now!

It can't be.

It just can't.

Because I know I can still see,

But-you-can't.

Your mind decives you,

but does it feed you?

As I start, into, this chant.

So I'll ask once more time

Are you there?

Am I their?

He'll be there

When you lay yourself down

Tonight.

Tell me if you follow this. If at first you can tell the double entendre of the word He'll and if you see both the split personality disorder and religious notes tied into this.

A little bit confused is the 'Their' in that context purposeful? The 'He' related to 'He' as used in the bible? I don't see a mass of religious notes tied into it but there's a definitely twist of personalities being thrown around the room.

When you say double entendre, that's usually a sexual reference, is that what you mean?

Wow...this was actually quite gripping. I found myself reading and creating my own images of what I personally felt was between the lines...and I can see the psychosis aspect of this quite clearly. An interesting "trip" in to the mind... Bravo...nicely done.

interesting glimpse into self alienation I think you have caught the essence of the condition.Which is an extreme end of the spectrum of "normality"
