The ObserverA Poem by ChantelleWritten 24th October 2011
I sit on the sidelines
I look down from high Rushing by me They are sterile, they flow I see it all I am friend to none I am but a shadow Forgotten at the turn I know what will happen I know what they are The one who can fathom Where every path goes Sometimes I may envy And wish for their ignorance But I am the one And I see all significance
