I wontA Poem by Cierra ScottLove this one.You got mad, I stayed quiet. You said this, And I said that.
You asked me if I was upset, I said yes. You asked why, And I shook my head.
You should know, You should have been smarter. Your ex girlfriends may have went off, But I wont; I refuse.
I wont give you the satisfaction of knowing you can make me mad, I wont give you the silent treatment. I will give you what you deserve, Your own game against you.
I sat quietly, I caught your same attitude. I made you think that I was upset, Just so I could bounce back and be just like you.
Once you realised what I was doing, You brought your guard up. You suddenly realised, I'm the perfect match.
Wont let anything you say get me down, I wont blow up in your face. I will stay calm, Because it makes you understand.
I am different than the others, because I wont let you win. © 2010 Cierra ScottAuthor's Note
