Love this one.

You got mad,

I stayed quiet.

You said this,

And I said that.

 

You asked me if I was upset,

I said yes.

You asked why,

And I shook my head.

 

You should know,

You should have been smarter.

Your ex girlfriends may have went off,

But I wont; I refuse.

 

I wont give you the satisfaction of knowing you can make me mad,

I wont give you the silent treatment.

I will give you what you deserve,

Your own game against you.

 

I sat quietly,

I caught your same attitude.

I made you think that I was upset,

Just so I could bounce back and be just like you.

 

Once you realised what I was doing,

You brought your guard up.

You suddenly realised,

I'm the perfect match.

 

Wont let anything you say get me down,

I wont blow up in your face.

I will stay calm,

Because it makes you understand.

 

I am different than the others, because I wont let you win.

A poem I wrote for those girls who don't let their boyfriends upset them. They play their own game against them to bring them right back down to earth. This is to the ones who stay strong! :)
