Something's Wrong Here

Break up Poem.

Just tell me,

Are you really that blind?

Please let me know,

Do you really undestand?

 

From everything you told me,

Was it all a lie?

Are you really honest,

When you say you love me?

 

I say to myself,

Something's wrong here.

Can you honestly deny it,

When I catch you in a lie?

 

You lock out your true self,

Say that I'm better off with you.

And ignore the little fact,

You aren't who you say you are.

 

I ask myself,

Is it really worth the headach?

I look at you,

You aren't who you were before.

 

We are two people,

Two of which we thought we were in love.

You try to hide your lies,

And I try to figure out if everything is just a fairytale.

 

Is that all?

Is it really just a fairytale?

Is that what we have?

Is it just lies and schemes?

 

I've always been faithful,

Have you?

I've always been there for you,

Were you always there for me?

 

It's now my turn to speak.

 

My dear love,

It's been wonderful.

I just can't handle it anymore,

It's time to say, "Goodbye."

This poem flows nicely. It definitely shows that you are seeing something different about this person, because sometimes people tend to be in denial and they do not want to lose the one they love when they know they've done something wrong. Here, I see a girl standing up for what is right and that is very good. I love that about this poem. You're not letting them cover the truth with a sheet of lies. Well done.
