Why?

A little inspirational poem for those who are constantly being put down.

Why do you hide,

Why do you seek?

Why do you cry,

And why do you sneek?

 

Dear love of my life,

You must stop your pain.

And you must stop your sorrow,

For all the questions will be "Why?"

 

Why do you let them put you down,

Why do you let them boss you around?

Speak your mind,

But not through violence.

 

If they wish not to listen,

Then let them be just that of soon lonliness.

They will push their loved ones away,

And then they will ask, "Why?"

 

Why carry through your misery,

Why carry through your pain?

Don't let the little things get you down,

Because you can be anything you want to be.

 

And I will ask myself,

"Why did they let it happen in the first place?"

 

Why?

Wow. I see a lot of let-downs in this poem and how one should stand up for themselves. Very well written and powerful I must say.
