About giving a chance at love.

When I see you there,
I hold my breath.
Afraid what to say,
Maybe you will understand.

I've opened my heart,
Given a chance.
Let you in,
And I don't want you to go.

Stay here tonight,
Don't make me miss you.
I really do care about you,
And I can tell you do too.

Let's just have fun,
Let's just be ourselves.
Don't want to be apart,
but I know who we are.

Let's live our lives!

Yes we do have to give a love a chance, often love is shut down before it gets to ring our door bell. Giving love a chance is taking a risk but I truly believe that once you have had a broken heart that heals it should teach us that the heart can and will always recover therefore there is no reason to fear love. Lovely poem.
