I'm Not Falling

A poem I wrote about how the world is today, and how I believe we should be.

I'm not falling,
I'm not dying.
I've told my sins,
And I've accepted life.

Don't underestimate your enemy,
Don't turn your back on friends.
All this whinning and all this sorrow,
Live what's given.

Life is too strong to throw away,
And life is too precious to hate.
You should grant your thanks,
Because it takes life to love life.

Let's live,
Let's love,
Let's live like we're immortal,
Let's love like we're great.

Let's put our hands together,
And be the world we 'ought to be.
And be the civilization of hope,
Become the generation of life.

It takes courage to live life as you have written here. To be so bold, so assured, so confident as to step forward and live life like we were immortal. I can only imagine what we would accomplish, even more than we have done already. Everything starts from within us and we push it into this world.
