A Poem by Gathering_Stars

my favorite shape is a circle (   )
because it gives me hope that if you spread love
it just might come back to you.
no matter how aggravating life and people can be.
that if you promote peace, no one will want to go to war with you.
if you hope for better days, people will hope your dreams come true.

 my favorite color is rainbow.
because it gives me hope of perspective
it reminds me that you can't see everything from every point of view.
you can't exist and function fully without other people.
they complete you; without being tamed by those you love and hate
you are just a shell.

my favorite weather is a thunderstorm.
because i love to watch the lightning flashing in the sky.
i love the smell of oncoming rain and the smell of flowers afterwards.
when you can close your eyes and still see nature
when you can pause from the commotion and just sit still.
when the sky reflects your mood.

 my favorite flowers are dandelions.
because i love to think that they just have more personality.
people see them as weeds because thats what adults call them,
so they get a bad reputation for something that isn't their fault.
i like to think that other things are the victims of rumors,
it stops me from feeling so alone.

my favorite sound is the falling of snow.
because i love that you have to stop to listen to it.
i like to think that amidst all of the angst and worries of life
there is still the chance to appreciate soft things.
i like the fact that snow makes you want to whisper,
to get close to the fire and to other people.

About
I'm pretty sure that vampires, Harry Potter, and Albert Einstein live in a parallel universe. Actually I think that Albert Einstein somehow mis-haped himself into ours by some freak accident; althoug.. more..
