Angels, Angels, Burning Bright

Angels, Angels, Burning Bright

A Poem by Laylani Mullane
"

~Reload~ Just came to me *shrugs*

"

Angels, angels burning bright
Come down tonight
Among twilight.

With wings of pale and silver sheen
Will you be comfort or justice keen?

Will the virtues you so cherish
Stay when you reach this wretched earth
Or will they perish?

Angels, angels burning bright
Come down tonight
Among twilight.

The poem is amazing. It felt like a wish and ask a important question. A beautiful ending to a outstanding poem.

So beautifully written with a great flow. It would be really nice if angels did come down to this place :-). Beautiful poem, and so beautifully written

I rather like this piece. It shows a great flow. Well done.

I must also say that I am rather taken with idea of angels coming down to this place. Any little bit helps.

our wretched earth..., is this really a hell we experience here? will an angel's wing be blemished here or will they finally experience life... personally i think they'll free themselves of clipped wings :D

Faerie Blessings!

About
For me poetry is about emotion, and most of the time when I write I try not to edit too much, if at all, because I believe that it'll only dimish the emotion. For the last few years writing has helpe.. more..
