Welcome Back

A short little excerpt, like you'd read on the back or inside the flap of a book.

Tossing. Turning. Screaming but no sound....reaching for a familiar hand...running but not moving. I'm terrified...gasping for air. I'm stuck. Caught between reality and a nightmare.

Trapped between two worlds. Crying out for help...I can see my saviours but I can't reach them and they're desperately trying to pull me into the light. I'm stuck in the darkness. I am awake in and endless nightmare.

Help me! Please! Someone help me! I hear something in the distance.

"3...." I'm trying to run, but the darkness is now getting thick and foggy! HELP ME!!! PLEASE!!! I'm yelling but no one hears me....in the midst of the darkness...I see a dark figure...I'm sweating....I'm running...in the distance I hear it again "3...2..." what is it? Who is it? They sound so familiar. So why am I so afraid?

Suffocating with fear, the dark figure is now right in front of me...I'm crying. I close my eyes...the familiar voice is growing louder..."3...2...1...wake up Rachel! You're safe.

I'm laying on a couch I see a familiar face. I feel comforted. Omgoodness, Margret I was so afraid....I actually thought...Margaret...? Marge what's wrong? There's silence, Margaret is very still and I'm anxious and then the dark figure rushes towards me!

I'm in the darkness again I'm afraid, I can't breathe, my heart is racing, I'm running but there is a thick layer of smoke and darkness...the figure is there again...I can almost see a face.

I can't breathe...I close my eyes  because I know this is the end...and then I hear a snap, and I that familiar voice again. Rachel are you ok? Yes, Margaret I respond. "You scared me" this time you were out for nearly 5 mins.
