Life's gamesA Poem by peter DugganOne looks into another' eyesIife’s Games
As we walk with unseeing eyes
Only knowing where we’ve been
With dull hearts beating restlessly
Though once life was serene
Babyhood is dead and gone
Time causes all to fade
And yet we play so many games
So, we might make the grade
One looks into another’s eyes
To see what’s hidden there
Yet there reflected are his own
It’s the same most everywhere
Hero’s, sought most endlessly
Might fabricate a lie
So, few they know the truth at all
They let it pass on by
Why do we always stare on out
And never look within
To see the force that never ends
Cause it did not begin
Some day unseeing eyes must see
[It’s wrote in destiny]
That force called love that be the all
And goes on endlessly © 2019 peter Duggan |
