A Rose as sweet

 

A rose as sweet as you, my love

Is so special, yes indeed

You are a lady filled with love

Who fills my every need

When the Lord God made you

He threw away the mold

Then he sent you down to me

With your heart of perfect gold

 

There is nothing in the world

As beautiful as you

I cannot help but love you

With a love so sweet and true

You are a girl so sweet and pure

All, filled with such sweet beauty

I love your sweet blue eye’s my love

I love your mystery

 

Every time I look at you

It makes me feel so fine

There is something about you

That makes each day divine

I will love you, my sweet one

Until my days are done

Then I’ll take this love to heaven

As another life’s begun
