When I’m sitting by a river

As everything It seems so still

So much beauty God delivers

As I do look at yonder hill

Whilst the fall moon does shine above

It’s evening times that I do love

 

Whilst the full moon does shine above

As the frogs they do sing their song

This is the time that I do love

Night times I feel that I belong

How it gives me such elation

 

It is a time for meditation

It fills my heart with so much peace

How it gives me such elation

And, gives my mind such sweet release

 

It fills my heart with so much peace

My inner silence touches me

and gives my mind such sweet release

As I do feel sweet mystery

 

My inner silence touches me

It gives me joy to be right here

As I do feel sweet mystery

My mind I make it oh, so clear
