Where real happiness comes from

True happiness

 

Do you ever notice?

That the happiness one seeks

Never lasts for very long

It seems it’s far too weak

To the last out the distance

Do you wonder why this is?

Well I have found a truth within

And I would tell you this.

 

You’re seeking for your happiness

Where it cannot be found

It’s not within those deep desires

That just go round and round

Within the very core of you

It’s a thing one can’t fulfil

The only way to happiness

Is to find out what is real.

 

True happiness, cannot be found

In anything outside

It has to come from deep within

You must open your heart wide

And let that sunshine creep on in

And fill you up with light

And then that joy and happiness

Will shine out very bright
