The way I live my life

I Go My Own Way

I used to be a follower
I let folk brainwash me
I was into religion
Far away from mystery
Folk said I must be humble
I must throw away my pride
But I have turned my back on these
I open my mind wide

I laugh at all religion
They’ve done nothing for me
And all those so called leaders
From them I would be free
If I’m ever bound for growth
I’ll find this deep within me
No one will ever brainwash me
All I want is just to be

I walk alone, and always will
And when it comes to god
I’ll go in my own direction
Ithat’s the way I’ve mostly trod
I’ll worship all life’s mystery
For she fills me with joy
And all the love within my soul
There nothing could destroy
