Stop those wars, and breeding fear

We need to get rid of those wars right now

Stop those Wars, and breeding fear

As I sit amongst the flowers

And I think of loves sweet power

Then I think of our lost leaders

Why are these fools such evil bleeders

So quick to start there evil wars

They seem to do this more, and more

Filling the whole wide world with fear

These fools I'll never hold them dear

They tell me that United nations

They really had no hesitation

When they said they'd bring us peace

It seems to me these wars don't cease

Ask the people 'Do you want war?

I know they'd answer this for sure

By shouting let us live in peace

Let all this bullshit right now cease.

Yet leaders make us live in fear

They always make it loud and clear

If we don't fight their bloody wars

We will be soiled forever more

I say 'let those leaders fight!!!!'

It would give me such delight

To see them back away in fear

They'd then not hold their wars so dear

Hi Coyote. You must have gone through a lot of hell in your army days. I was lucky being a medic and not having to fight, but seeing dying and wounded buys was enough to turn me against any kind of killing. I hear people saying they don't want war, but getting pleasure out of watching any kind of killing on their TV screens. Thank you, my friend for your kind words...Peter

I believe my friend. People have short memories. Mass murder, war and 25% of taxes spend on war. If we spend five per cent for education and trade. Not the war machine. The world could change.

Like you, I have been writing against war and few pay attention. I saw death cities and 100,000 dead soldiers on a battle field. Did we learn? Thank you Peter for sharing the amazing poetry and your thoughts.
