Will fiction follow fact?

 

 

Once, so many years ago

‘1984’ I read

‘And the ‘Brave new world’ as well

I read them Whilst in bed

 Then I felt some intuition

As it filled this mind of mine

I felt much truth in these two books

Ugly thoughts then I did find

 

Today I read these books again

As more thoughts came to me

I saw the way this world is going

Once again then I did see

That often facts do follow fiction

As it has done times before

I see this world as it is now

And I am kind of sure

 

That brave new world is with us now

‘Nineteen eighty four’ this too

I can see it in the near future

The things our leaders might do

Will we be slaves each one of us?

Will Big Brother make the rrules?

Of this new world we’re forced to live in

Will we be pawns, of these fools??
