Finding the real God without religion

Have you Yet found God?

 

I ask you Have you yet found God?

With all her mystery

Have you felt her deep within

He is the one you be

And everything that touches you

The trees, the birds, the stars

Oh yes, I tell you who god is

She’s everything you are

 

People cling to written words

That they’ve been brainwashed with

The popes, and priests and all the rest

The truth they’ll say they give.

To find the power that is God

You must find out who you be

By searching deep within yourself

Asking the question ‘who is me?’

 

When you find someone brim filled with joy

And soul all filled with love

You’ll know that he/she has found the truth

He/she has found the God above

There lies a man who’s found himself

He’ll know just who he is

For he will live here in the now

His heart brim filled with bliss

Hi Dhara, I think you for your kind comments. I write bout god as feminine. To me The average man lacks in the love whereas The women kind seem to have much love. God is not a man nor woman. He resides in each one of us, and represents love in it highest form. I find God deep within my heart and whenever I am at one with nature. A lot of people think of God as a man with a beard, which is so childish, me thinks, I very much appreciate your nice comments, my friend...Pete
