Wondering about the way the world is going

 

What Is It With These Ones Who Rule

 

 

What is it with those evil ones?

Who think they run the show?

Are they just some kind of fools?

Will not they ever grow?

They destroy this land that we live in

Why do they act so crazy?

Do they live for only greed?

These idiots amaze me

 

They poison all our rivers

And make our food not healthy

As they spread illness all around

These ones who are so wealthy

They try to keep us filled with fear

With their words and crazy wars

All they ever want is power

They just want more, and more

 

They try to keep our numbers down

By all the things they do

They want the rich to live only

As they say their words are true

But is this really so? I ask

Me thinks they’re filled with lies

Their craziness it makes me sad

As our lovely planet dies

A common theme in my writing, also.
One thing I wonder. Do these rich a******s really want 'the rich to live only'?
If this actually happened, I do not think they would be so happy.
After all, who would they feel superior to?
