AS That Sun Caresses Trees

AS That Sun Caresses Trees

A Poem by peter Duggan
"

Words bout my garden my precious joy

"
As That sun Caresses Trees

How I love it sitting here
The spring time is my joy
As the sun it shines so brightly
I could not ask for more
The fountain sings so gladly
As the tree’s they shine so bright
I’m so alive this morning
Brim filled with sweet delight

Everything is filled with beauty
My being’s filled with bliss
It’s a kind of lovely feeling
I’d never want to miss
I love to write these poems
With this art that is my gift
Whenever I’m with nature
To write I can’t resist

Sweetness shines down from Heaven
As power who watches me
He feeds me with his silence
As the stillness fills the trees
All of the flowers glisten
And fill me full of love
Everything, it is so beautiful
As that sun shines from above

Hi Rod, so good to hear from you, my friend. This year in Oz we are having aa wonderful spring. The sun is shining down so much as to make the trees and flowers shine in a beautiful, magical way. So often the whole of nature fills me with such pure joy, that there is nothing more I desire. I thank you so much for your kind comments. They mean a lot to me. I hope you are not suffering over much from your sickness. All my blessings I send to you, my friend...Peter

You enjoy writing them and I enjoy reading them Peter, this year, summer spring etc, have been so beautiful and you have covered their beauty in this poem. Is it all due to Climate change? Thanks for sharing this with me. Take care Rod.
