That silence

 

Have you ever heard that silence?

That comes from deep within

Have you felt that stillness?

As the evening just begins

 

Do you wallow in the beauty?

Of the voice that lives within you

A very magic whisper

That points to what is true

 

Have you turned off all your foolish din?

And when this thing is gone

Have you felt that sweet, sweet joy?

That you wish will carry on

 

How it floods you with such beauty

Of peace, that wondrous feeling

That takes away all evil

And makes life so appealing

 

Have you sat amidst those silent trees?

In the early morning hours

And felt the love that comes to you

From the holy breath of power
