Relaxing In My Garden

I relax here in my garden

With the silence all around

The trees are filled with stillness

Right here there can be found

The mystery of nature’s love

Such joy I find right here

Calm and peaceful I do feel

As everything feels clear

Soft sweet music it does play

A song with the lovely fountain

Honey eaters in the trees

They sing above soft rain

As dogs spill out their energy

To those with ears that hear

The whole world feels enchanted

Each moment is so dear

Just to be here by myself

Is to be brim filled with joy

All the mystery within me

There’s naught could this destroy

The sadness of the human race

With all its misery

Is sent to some place far away

I am happy just to be

G'day to you Coyote. It is so nice to hear from me, my friend. I've neglected my writing and my comments. At my age now I just don't want to write any more, but it keeps on coming back to me. I really appreciate your kind comments, mate. All the best, Peter

A wonderful poem. The safety of a garden. A place to know some peace. Myself, I wander down to Lake St. Clair. Watch the water dance. Thank you my friend for sharing the amazing poetry.
