This whole damned world is crazy

The craziness of the rich and greed

This Whole Damned world Is Crazy

 

I’ve come to the conclusion

That this whole damn world is crazy

Sometimes when I ponder

My mind becomes quite hazy

There are fools destroying everything

Always in the name of greed

When will they think about our planet

And the danger that they breed

 

They’re digging holes most everywhere

And robbing our dear Earth

Of all the things that make her rich

Taking all her worth

Poisoning our oceans, and air above

Chopping down a million trees

Exploding bombs beneath the ocean

How crazy can they be???

 

Now the fracking’s taking over

These fools go on and on

Destroying everything in sight

Too soon this Earth be gone

Then what be their riches worth?

When the Earth has no more life

For wealth is but a symbol

And greed just causes strife

Poetically poignantly put - when nothing is left … then what? Could be why the 'space race' is back on looking to boldly go where no man has gone before - and - exploit it! Great write & meaningful read - :-)
