Paintbrush Smiles.

Paintbrush Smiles.

A Poem by Lana Bimbi
"

I find graffiti with a message amazing, hence this poem.

"
Next time you venture to the city,
Let your eye wonder to the walls.
For it is there that lies a cemetery,
Of nostalgic black and white scrawls.
-
And these scribbles tell a story,
An imitation of the past.
Some depict the future,
Others a broken heart.
-
These images often being,
Dismissed as youth rebellion.
The labyrinth minds of sullen souls,
Preaching such art isn’t of worth in heaven.
-
But for those who draw the pictures,
And for those who tell the tales.
Allow the city walls to remain your canvas,
And may your paintbrush continue to create smiles.

To create such a poignant poem about something so specific is an accomplishment. Again AMAZING. I am enthralled in your writing. Keep writing and keep sharing.
