Hush.

Hush.

A Poem by Lana Bimbi
"

This poem was a little darker than what I'm used to writing, and I tried a new technique. I'm pretty happy with the final outcome though.

"
No.
And Thankyou.
Please-
My Darling.
She pleads with her hazel eyes.
He traces along her collarbone,
his hand resting softly on her thigh.
I'm scared.
She says,
with bated breaths.
Do not fear, my love,
as he removes her dress.
But no.
Why not.
I beg you.
Don't leave.
He embraces her tightly,
her tears landing on his sleeve.
Don't fight it.
It's right.
How I love you, my dear.
She tries to escape,
but is now frozen in fear.

It's too late.
Too dark.
Too quiet.
Too dense.
I'm okay, she say's,
But that was past tense.
