A Ripple In Time.

A Ripple In Time.

A Poem by Lana Bimbi
"

Written for a competition but it also correlates with some stuff currently going on in my little, 16 year old world. Enjoy.

"

A ripple in time,

Unbeknown to I-

The love of my life,

Would soon past me by.

But as I kept my eyes closed,

He walked the other way.

Not even a whisper-

My hopes led astray

But fear not, my dear

For your love shall pass again.

In the form of a stranger-

Maybe even a friend.

Do not fear tomorrow,

As with it brings new light.

And with light comes a fire,

soon to ignite.

That fire is something,

That dwells within,

And it will burn it’s brightest,

When you finally find him.

Aha, a teenage poet, nice to meet some more young blood. Problably explains the optimisim which is apparent in this lovely poem, well done!

Lana, this is just beautiful. I can't believe you are 16! You have some wisdom beyond your years. This is written well. While there is not a lot of imagery (which I enjoy) but I can still feel it and see it in my head and my heart. I really enjoyed this.
