Jealousy.

Jealousy.

A Poem by Lana Bimbi

-
Bright eyes blue
slowly fade to green.
As the jealousy consumes you
Inadvertently from within.
And it's not really jealousy,
but fear of being alone-
For your heart has been abandoned before
and you've had to find it a new home.
But even though your mind
wanders millenniums ahead-
your heart remains in the past.
So do not fear what is yet to come.
And don't be scared of change.
For as long as you learn to love yourself
Your heart will never be broken again.

Very true! Honourable! When i read this i thought of middle school girls who believe their only worth is in boys so they swipe at anyone who comes near.

yes, that's mostly true, but old wobbly time is always looking for the places where hope tries to hide...and, who was ever so true to themselves that vulnerability didn't fall asleep...i like the way your poetry reaches, very much
