The Stage

The Stage

A Poem by Cheyenne
"

A poem about my undying love to be on stage

"

The Stage

The one place I feel at Home

The Stage

This place where I have Grown

The Stage

Where I'll never be Alone

The Stage

When my love is Shone

The Stage

There is this restless Tone

The Stage

The place I long to be

The Stage

It puts a power in me

And Never will it die

The Stage

Will Follow me to the sky

I like it! I like that it breaks the rhyme at the end! It is an honest, heartfelt poem. Very nice.

Oh the feeling of the stage, I completely agree, it is a beautiful thing that should be looked at as so. Gorgeous work, and I love the repetition.

The beautiful thing about poetry, or creative writing in General, we are able to do what we want, not because we have to shape it into something everyone wants to read but we get to shape it into our feelings and show what we really need to say. It's not about being traditional, or formal, it's about showing the writing, the feelings, and ourselves. Excellent work.

Regards,

Matthew
