Poison SunlightA Poem by The Midnight PenWhat days without her do to meI go through my days
with deadly poison
coursing through my veins.
It slowly ticks by
as my soul hands another sliver of itself
to the void/
The light of day gets duller and duller
til it all fades away.
My sun is gone
and all i have left is the rain.
It feels colder now
when you're on your own,
but i guess it's nice for once,
being a lone soul.
At least you don't rip at me slowly,
the way it hurts more.
I am slowly dying here,
but it's better this way
because you're not causing it.
